WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL ABOUT COFFEE RUBS?

Years ago, cowboys herding their cattle going across the west would make up a pot of coffee. Back in those days you wasted nothing, even the coffee grounds. Well the cowboys found a use for the coffee grounds. After a hard days work, they sat around eating beef on the open camp fire. They would take the coffee grounds along with some salt and rub the beef with it. 

Well we took that idea to another level by adding many more spices that give that steak or roast a better flavor. So we came up with Jake’s Beef Rub and have been doing this with our beef, chicken and pork ever since.
